Gymnastics increase your body strength and keep you healthy. They help in keeping balanced mind and body with proper blood circulation. Gymnastics help in flexibility of bones and prevent heart diseases, cancer and obesity. Gymnastics date back to 5th century BC and were developed by Greeks. In Spain, gymnastics was used for training the military soldiers and during 18th-19th centuries in Germany, exercises for men were discovered.

Laurie Hernandez is the gold and silver medalist of 2016 Summer Olympics. She was at the 11th position in the U.S. Classic at an age of 12 years. Laurie Hernandez has been on the 1st place in floor exercise, 2nd in all around and 3rd in beam and vault. She won the bronze medal at the City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy.

Laurie Hernandez has been the champion in many events and Olympic Games 2012. She won silver medals for floor exercises and vault at 2015 International Junior Japan Meet in Yokohama. Laurie Hernandez has also appeared on many TV shows and she is an author too.

A member of U.S National Team since the year 2014, Ragan Smith is a famous Gymnast of the world. She was selected for Junior International Elite in the year 2013 after which she was included in U.S National Team. Ragan Smith got trained under the world champion Kim Zmeskal-Burdette and she is a master in floor exercises.

She came 2nd on beam and floor exercises with being on 5th number in vault and floor finals. Ragan Smith has recently won a gold medal at the American Cup in New Jersey.

Jazmyn Foberg is one of the most famous names in gymnastics. She is an American gymnast who won the junior national championship in the year 2014. She has been winning the titles in the exercises of vault, beam and uneven bars keeping behind some of the good female gymnasts.

Jazmyn Foberg has got gold, bronze and silver medals in US Classic and National Championships. At a young age of 17 years, she has proven to a pride of the nation.

Kyla Ross has achieved a tremendous height of success in gymnastics at a young age. She learns gymnastics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Starting the career in gymnastics at the age of 3 years, Kyla Ross got training at Greenville Gymnastics Training Center in South Carolina. She won the titles at state and national levels for uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercises. She defeated the players of Olympics with being first with a good score.

Kyla Ross helped the “Fierce Five” team to be places first in the finals. She declared her retirement from elite gymnastics last year. Kyla Ross is the youngest member of the Fierce Five team who won the gold medal at 2012 Olympics.

Madison Kocian won the gold medal at 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro with being champion in World Artistic Gymnastics. She was encouraged by her parents for gymnastics at a younger age to help her trained at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy. At the age of 13 years, Madison Kocian got the bronze medal on uneven bars at U.S. National Championships.

Later in the year 2011, she won gold medal in Italy at a junior level. The period between the years 2012-2015 was pretty good in the career of Madison Kocian where she won the gold and silver medals for balance beam and uneven bars.

Bailie Key is another one of the famous female gymnasts who has done wonders at a young age. She is a champion of U.S. Junior National 2013 and gold medalist at Pacific Rim Championships, 2014. Bailie Key is trained under Olympic winner, Kim Zmeskal and Chris Burdette. She got a bronze medal for performing well in floor exercises and beam balance.

Bailie Key has won titles for all the women exercises of vault, balance beam and uneven bars. She has been a good trainer for her juniors at 2013 Mexico Open. Bailie Key has been a senior gymnast in P & G Championships, Secret U.S. Classic and City of Jesolo Trophy.

Aly Raisman has served as a captain of “Fierce Five “and “Final Five U.S. women’s Olympic gymnastics. She has got gold, silver and bronze medals for the balance beam and floor exercises. At a young age of 2 years, Aly Raisman watched the Summer Olympics from where she got the passion for her gymnastics career. She was trained at Exxcel Gymnastics and later in American Gymnastics Club.

She has performed well at the U.S. Classic, National Championships and Junior Pan American Championships with places 1st and 2nd with good scores. Aly Raisman has made an appearance in Dancing with the stars where she got the 4th number.

Being 2nd in the all –around at the U.S. Classic, Gabby Douglas has been the famous name in the field of gymnastics.  She won the gold and silver medals at 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships with 3rd place in all- around and 6th place for uneven bars. Gabby Douglas won the title at the 2016 City of Jesolo Trophy and AT & T American Cup. She gained a good score at the P & G Championships in St.Louis for vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercises.

Gabby Douglas got a gold medal for the team event at 2016 Summer Olympic Games and she has been honored with awards for the Female Athlete of the Year. A show was made on the life of Gabby Douglas and her family in the year 2015.

Maggie Nichols is an American gymnast to win both gold and bronze medals at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. In the year 2013, she was selected for City of Jesolo Trophy where she got a silver medal for the floor exercise. She was on the 6th place in the all- around in the U.S. Classic and 5th at the National Championships on balance beam. Maggie Nichols stood on 2nd at the 2016 AT & T American Cup with a good score.

She performed well at the P & G Gymnastics Championships on the even bars and balance beam with holding 13th and 10th place. She retired from the gymnastics in the month of July, 2016 which she declared on the news and social media sites.

She was placed first all-around in American Classic, 2nd on floor exercise, 3rd on balance beam and 4th on uneven bars. She has won many titles at the 2013 City of Jesolo Trophy for vault, balance beam and floor exercise with a gold medal for U.S.

After a shoulder injury, Simone Biles won the titles for all-around with 1st place on vault, balance beam and floor exercises. She won 10 world gold medals in her professional career which is a remarkable performance.
